While I absolutely hate to criticize someone's staging work (I have no idea who staged this space), there's A LOT we an learn from seeing mistakes and photos are worth 1000 words. There are rules to design and staging especially on the measurement side and since we don't make design decisions in a vacuum, usually the home and furnishings are already telling us what to do.
