I see so many paint color mistakes these days, so I thought I would showcase a few hot tips for picking paint colors with some gorgeous before and after photos by my wonderful sister's design company, Pacific Home Design. There are other color considerations to consider but these 5 with photo examples are a great start!

A popular green paint color for the bottom cabinets works not only with the style but also the helps to tone down the flooring. White cabinets on top (which is the preferred, trending cabinet color for uppers according to HOUZZ) completes the look.

Don't Be Afraid to Make Paint Changes to Fixtured Finishes: We're always so afraid to paint that wood paneling or that red brick fireplace. But I'm here to tell you, it most often looks so much better when you do!
