8 Keys to Offering a Successful Vacation Rental Design Service

As you can see from the video above, Mitchell and Luis have a process for their Airbnb design service that creates trust, builds credibility, sets the expectation and provides the vision to clients. Here are some more keys to structuring a vacation rental design service that is a win-win for everyone.

Mix high/low furnishings to create a luxury look that can still fit in a budget that provides maximum ROI to your clients.
Use concept boards to showcase each room, so that the client can trust that your are on the same design page.
Shop trade for quality furnishings and splurge on slip covered, high-performance fabric sofas.
Don't feel the need to include detailed pricing in your client presentation but give the vision and fit the budget.
Educate the client on the need for quality furnishings, so they are not replacing those items a few year's from now.
Use statement art to pull the room and color scheme together.
Ideally don't buy furnishings that need assembly as the time to assemble and the quality is usually not worth it.
Make sure your dining and living room seating match the amount of people the Airbnb sleeps. Functionality first!

As you can see from the video above, offering a successful vacation rental design service takes time and know-how but can really increase your bottom line as a designer and stager!
